Jennifer Hricik joined the Traverse City Philharmonic staff as the Director of Development in the fall of 2024. She knows firsthand the value of what a music education can mean for all students and the importance of access to a world-class symphony in our region.
She has been passionate about education and providing students with opportunities since she entered the higher education field directly after college. After almost ten years recruiting new students for her alma mater (George Fox University, Oregon), she spent the next dozen years helping not-for-profit organizations, colleges and universities across the country with strategic planning, marketing, and branding through her roles at a marketing agency (RHB, Indianapolis) and a higher education consulting firm (Credo, North Carolina).
After moving to Traverse City ten years ago, she joined the Northwestern Michigan College Foundation to bookend her on-campus college experiences through fundraising to support students with scholarships, programming, and new facilities.
Jennifer connects with the community through her involvement with the Traverse Bay Sunrise Rotary Club, the Rotary Youth Exchange committee, and serving on the board of the Friends of the Historic Commons. She and her husband David are often seen about town and on the trails with the canine member of their family, Archie.
