Dr. Oleg Bezuglov is an award-winning violinist, composer, arranger, and educator with an international career spanning orchestral performance, chamber music, as well as recording and composition projects. He is a First Prize winner of the International Shostakovich Chamber Music Competition (Moscow, 2008) and a Third Prize winner of the ICMEC Chamber Music Competition (Boston, MA 2016). Oleg has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, South Korea, Russia, and Ukraine.
He performed in prestigious concert venues including KKL Luzern (Lucerne, Switzerland), the Großes Festspielhaus (Salzburg, Austria), Beethovensaal (Germany), Gyeonggi-do (South Korea), Merkin Hall (New York, USA), Walt Disney Theater ( Orlando, FL), Jordan Hall (Boston, USA), the Rachmaninoff Concert Hall (Russia), and Stolyarsky School Hall (Odesa, Ukraine).
He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Violin Performance from Michigan State University where he studied with renowned professor Dmitri Berlinsky.
He is the founder of the prize-winning Class&Jazz Duo, an acclaimed violin-and-piano ensemble known for integrating classical repertoire with jazz influence and original concert programming.
In addition to his performing career, Dr. Bezuglov is the founder of Ars Longa Music Academy, an online music school dedicated to instruction and mentorship for aspiring musicians worldwide. He also leads creative production initiatives through his music recording company - Ars Longa Records, collaborating internationally across classical, film, and contemporary genres.
