Our Music Appreciation classes explore great music and the stories behind it, with no musical background required. Classes run in a hybrid format, in person at the Traverse City Philharmonic Center and streamed via Zoom, with recordings archived and available for playback.

Explore the development of American classical music from the Colonial era to today, from Charles Ives to Leonard Bernstein to John Williams, through listening, discussion, and historical context.
